If your courses are not showing up in the 'Import From CAPCE' menu, how can you get them added to your NREMT Re-Certification Transcript?
Due to recent changes with CAPCE system and the EMT & Fire Training Learning Management Certificate Generating/Reporting System we have identified a few small issues. If you obtained a certificate of completion from EMT & Fire Training, Inc (since October 1, 2021) then your data was sent to CAPCE and accepted, however if you did NOT have your NREMT certification number and expiration date fields completed in the Learning Management System then you will not see the courses show up in the view from inside your NREMT account when you try to 'Import From CAPCE'. If you are seeing only some of your courses, it will be because you probably updated those fields and from that point forward they will be available to import
There is an easy solution to fix this though.
Log into your NREMT account and ensure the box labeled 'My Current Role' has 'My Certification' selected. Then move down below to where it says 'ADD A COURSE' and select that. You should see a screen that looks like this (this is my account view and the example is for an AEMT, but EMT or Paramedic simply need to enter the info for their level)
This example shows you how to do 1 single course for ALL of your certificates if you have been in a traditional refresher or NCCP Recertification Package from EMT & Fire Training. If you are only wanting to enter a single course at a time, then choose a course type of Continuing Education Course from the menu.

Choose the following;
Course Type: Refresher Course/National Component Course
Course Name: AEMT Refresher/National Component Course (or EMT/Paramedic depending on your level)
Course Approved By: CAPCE
Course Completion Date: (this is the completion date from the last course you completed from the package/refresher)
Course Duration: Set the total hours of certificates from your package (ie. 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60, etc)
Did you teach this course: no
Was an instructor present: yes
Then I suggest you have a folder on your computer with all of your certificates in it so they are in one place, then simply click in the middle of the 'Upload Attachments' box and select all of the certificates and add them (you don't have to do this but make sure you keep them in case of an audit, we also will have a record of them if needed)
This next screen shot is from the same screen but below the attachments area (my view)

Complete the Course Location information:
Country: United States
Choose either city/state or zip and enter your information
Under Additional Course Information
Leave Lead Instructor blank
Course description: (example: AEMT Recertification Package of Courses, 24 hour Traditional EMT Refresher, 40 hour NCCP EMT Recertification Package, 30 hour NCCP Paramedic National Component Package, etc)
Sponsor: EMT & Fire Training, Inc
Then click Save & View Transcript
You'll next be on this view

Click on the blue word 'Unassigned' over on the right side next to the red bar
Then you'll next see this view:

Now just go down the middle and click the blue button that says 'ASSIGN' in each location (if you have already added the other certificates that were able to be imported before, don't worry, It should already have accounted for them here and will just fill in the remainder of hours for you)
When done, everything should be green (My view has 1 red left because I am a paramedic and need more than 50 hours used in this example)

This should be all you need. You can then go back to your dashboard and do the other steps needed for your recertification. If you are adding single courses at a time, you can just repeat as needed.
