Is there an age requirement to start the EMT course?

You must be at least 18 years old to enroll in the EMT course

EMT & Fire Training requires all potential students to be at least 18 years of age when enrolling in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) initial certification course. The enrollment documents form a legal contract and you must be at least 18 years old to agree to the terms of the contract.
